Project Manager\Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of various projects within the engineering and manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects from concept through completion, working closely with the engineering team, manufacturing, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead project planning and execution efforts, defining project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables. Ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve project milestones.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, procurement, and manufacturing teams. Coordinate, Collaborate and communicate between team members.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, manage project budgets, and track expenses to ensure projects remain within financial and time constraints.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management, and clients. Provide regular updates on progress and achievements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Project Management, or Real-World Experience 
  • Experience: Project Management experience is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or equivalent).
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
