Engineering Intern

Job Description:

As an Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the mission of Cardinal Foods by completing a variety of responsibilities and skill-based projects. In this role, you will gain realistic job experience within the farming and food processing industry and explore opportunities in an educational and productive manner. You will be given the opportunity to learn as well as implement critical thinking to accomplish tasks. 

The Position will:

·      Reviews design drawings, user manual and installation manual. 

·      Review, understanding and interpretation of requirements to ensure all specifications are integrated into the design of automation equipment. 

·      To maintain automation equipment in excellent condition ensuring consistent quality, output and yield. 

·      Follow systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues. 

·      Implement process improvements to achieve more efficient operations. 

·      May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

·      College student majoring in Robotics, Engineering, or other related fields preferred

·      Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations preferred

·      Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, and QuickBooks

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills
