Human Resources Intern
This internship will assist the HR department at the City of Grand Forks with a variety of HR duties and support. Duties include assisting with posting job openings and tracking applications, participating in interview scheduling and coordination, developing recruitment flyers and outreach materials, support internship and seasonal hiring programs, and assist with updating onboarding and orientations. Human Resource Management majors preferred. EEO Employer.
Examples of Duties
Assists with research and technical work of specific projects. Potential projects may be related to downtown planning efforts, zoning code updates, and other community projects that develop. Intern may work up to 40 hours in the summer months.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University as a full or part-time student.
- Has a current minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Able to work 20 hours per week not to exceed a maximum of 40 hours per week (typically between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- You are able to be a team player.
