Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychotherapist to provide mental health counseling and support across diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues. This role involves conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient well-being. The Psychotherapist will also engage in clinical research, documentation, and case management to ensure comprehensive care delivery within a HIPAA-compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling for clients dealing with issues including trauma, grief, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, chronic pain, and gender issues.
- Utilize specialized techniques such as motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, behavior management, and social work strategies to support patients through various challenges.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies.
- Document clinical encounters accurately in compliance with HIPAA, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards, CPT coding, and other medical documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans for inpatient and outpatient settings, including hospital experience and special education environments.
- Participate in clinical research projects related to behavioral health, medical records review, data collection, and outcome measurement.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, or family therapy sessions via secure telehealth platform
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with practice standards
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure high-quality, ethical care
- Participate in regular clinical supervision to support professional growth and licensure requirements
- Support clients in developing coping strategies, resilience, and progress toward treatment goals
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Active LMSW
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport in a virtual setting
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and client-centered care
- Reliable internet connection and private space for telehealth sessions
