Food for Health® is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and tech-driven Developer Intern to help build and enhance digital solutions using a new innovative AI solution from FasterHQ. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI, software development, web technologies—ready to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll help design, develop, and optimize web applications, integrate AI-powered features, and support digital transformation initiatives for our websites.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build, update, and enhance web applications using FasterHQ and modern web frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain landing pages, dashboards, and interactive tools.
  • Integrate APIs, automate workflows, and connect data sources for seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development, troubleshooting, and deployment.
  • Experiment with AI-powered development tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, DALL-E, etc)
  • Track analytics and suggest improvements for user engagement and system efficiency.

Who You Are:

  • Curious, resourceful, and eager to experiment with new technologies.
  • Familiar with web development platforms and modern programming tools.
  • Comfortable with version control (GitHub) and collaborative coding.
  • Able to use (or quickly learn) frameworks and tools such as React, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, REST APIs, and cloud services.
  • Interested in AI, automation, and emerging digital technologies.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Passionate about health, wellness, and making a difference.

Requirements:

  • Some experience with web development and programming tools.
  • Portfolio or examples of coding projects (personal, academic, or professional).
  • Willingness to learn and grow—potential is valued over perfection!
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible 15–20 hrs/wk depending upon your learning goals
  • Estimated Start Date – January 2026
  • Estimated End Date – May 30, 2026

Location:

  • Virtual/Remote outside of Minneapolis
  • Optional office hours @ Lifetime Fitness or The Minneapolis Club
