Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in a busy dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and assisting in the delivery of dental services. This job is full-time. Our office is open Monday-Thursday from 8-5 and Fridays from 9-5.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct thorough patient exams, including dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health recommendations

- Document patient medical and dental records accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to strict infection control protocols

- Take vital signs and monitor patients' overall health

- Utilize dental software, specifically Dentrix, to manage patient records and schedule appointments

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in general dentistry and medical terminology

**Skills:**

- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and protocols

- Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment

- Proficiency in dental software, specifically Dentrix

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with medical terminology

- Strong commitment to infection control and patient safety
