Under the leadership of our Medical Director, the Physical Therapist plays a key role in transforming how our patients move, perform, and live. You will manage a dynamic patient caseload while working with a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with the Medical Director to ensure all care plans align with Aviv Medical Program protocols and fully leverage the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to drive measurable, life-changing results. This role blends clinical expertise with innovation, data-driven decision making and hands on coaching. Essential Functions:
- Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide white glove healthcare services to an exclusive clientele.
- Responsible for physical rehabilitation and physical activity of patients.
- Responsible for manual therapeutic sessions and physical exercise sessions of patients.
- Provides follow-up to patient's progress.
- Leads and educates patients to a better lifestyle and wellbeing.
- Provides support and resolution for any inquiries from hyperbaric patients including investigating and resolving complaints.
- Creates and performs education programs regarding Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for the local community and medical community in concert with other Aviv personnel.
- Develops & executes training plans and methodologies for staff, including being able to train future staff for additional centers.
- Fosters an organizational culture based on exceeding customer expectations every step of the way and securing long-term client relations while maintaining trust and credibility.
- Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job role.
- May perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Education:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy program (approved through the American Physical Therapy Association) and holds an active license (must have passed the NPTE exam for Physical Therapists) through the state’s licensing board. Multi-state licenses must be maintained by the licensee.
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification (with AED).
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years as a Physical Therapist
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience assisting and directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants.
- Experience in recommending physical activity to patients in a home health follow-up program.
- High social and emotional skills.
- High listening skills and empathy.
- Sensitive to patient's needs and difficulties.
- Technically agile and Enthusiastic about new technologies.
- Skill in providing excellent customer service and support.
- Ensure maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to client information and progress.
- Strong attention to detail and must be organized
- Effective and strong presentation skills
- Must demonstrate efficiency in written and verbal communication
- Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate strong time management skills
- Must be able to make sound judgement decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); must be technically savvy/proficient with various technical systems and Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”).
