Job Summary

Fred Astaire Studios in Bentonville is seeking a passionate and experienced Ballroom Performance Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Club styles, and Country Western, with experience in teaching and choreography development. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, inspiring students of all ages, and fostering a positive and rewarding learning environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm
Compensation: Competitive pay scale ($13–$25/hour), bonuses, PTO

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival at the studio
  • Maintain and engage with a Fred Astaire Studios social media account
  • Teach an average of 25 private lessons per week (full-time employees)
  • Provide accurate information in-person, by phone, and via email
  • Maintain certification levels and pursue ongoing professional development
  • Assist with studio upkeep and cleanliness
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, selling programs, processing payments, and managing student files
  • Support studio operations including training, progress checks, presentations, event promotion, and certification exams
  • Maintain physical fitness and endurance to perform effectively

Organizational Relationships

This role reports directly to the studio owner and requires collaboration with all team members to ensure a positive and professional environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years Ballroom experience
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay current with technology and workplace compliance

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility in hours and schedule based on workload
  • Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required
  • Consistent attendance is critical to success
