Account Manager Trainee

Renowned Management is a fast-growing regional sales and consulting company in the Terre Haute area that specializes in serving clients nationwide. Known for our collaborative culture and career progression, we aim to develop talent from the ground up through ongoing mentorship, training, and real-world business exposure. We are growing fast and now are looking to increase our staff to support our growing customer base.

We are seeking motivated, driven individuals to join our team as Account Manager Trainees to support this growth. As an Account Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for forging relationships with customers, driving sales, collaborating with senior management, and managing junior staff to ensure company goals are met. You will learn core business strategies along the way – sales techniques, customer relationship management, client relations, and team leadership skills – to prepare you for a career in management. 

Account Manager Trainee Responsibilities:

  • Learn and execute consultative sales techniques through direct customer interaction to drive overall business growth
  • Build direct relationships with customers and clients long-term, maintaining high retention and satisfaction rates
  • Collaborate with team leads to manage and participate in day-to-day business operations, including sales and customer support, performance analysis, and client calls
  • Monitor team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and collaborate with fellow management staff to ensure continuous growth
  • Shadow senior management staff to learn the ins and outs of daily business operations, including client relations, sales techniques, and team management skills

Account Manager Trainee Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
  • 1+ years experience in management and/or customer-facing roles such as sales, customer service, retail or hospitality is a plus, but not required
  • Strong leadership skills and management potential is ideal, a coachable and positive attitude is a must
  • Ability to adapt and succeed under varying circumstances
  • Good collaboration skills and able to work well in teams, while also being able to excel independently
