Impending Bloom, a leading-edge sustainability consulting, education, and technology startup, is excited to announce the launch of our Spring 2026 Sustainability Fellowship — a hands-on, cohort-based learning experience for students and early-career professionals passionate about sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), and their intersections with business, finance, and society.

This virtual fellowship is designed to deliver both practical ESG knowledge and collaborative application, empowering learners to become informed, future-ready professionals in sustainability and responsible innovation.

Program Overview

The fellowship is divided into two engaging phases:

Phase 1 – Learning & Expert Insights

Fellows will engage in live sessions with professionals and experts, covering topics such as:

  • Sustainability & ESG in Business: Landscape Overview
  • Sustainability & ESG in Business: Regulation Tour
  • Sustainability & ESG in Business: Framework Evolution
  • Sustainability & ESG in Business: Cheatsheet & Case Study
  • Sustainability, System Thinking & Agentic AI: Understanding interconnections within sustainability challenges & How artificial intelligence can empower sustainable solutions.

Participants will receive interactive exercises, presentations, and case studies to deepen their understanding of key ESG concepts and methodologies.

Phase 2 – Application Through Innovation

Apply what you’ve learned through the Sustainable Startup Challenge, a team-based project where students co-create an innovative, sustainability-focused business proposal.

Top 5 teams will present their proposals at a live showcase judged by ESG experts and industry professionals.

Cost: $14.99

Who Should Apply?

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in ESG research, reporting, or sustainability-related work
  • Strong virtual meeting presence and teamwork abilities

Program Requirements

  • Reliable internet connection and a device for virtual collaboration
  • Participation in regular training sessions and team projects
  • Training timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)
