```Duties```
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with patient assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Use applied behavior analysis techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist with the development and implementation of behavior support plans
- Help clients develop daily living skills, social skills, and communication skills
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

 

```Requirements```
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and treatment protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent data collection and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and implement new strategies and techniques
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations

 

Please note that this position requires working directly with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Experience in this field is preferred, but we are willing to provide training for individuals who demonstrate a passion for working in this area.

 

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

 

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

 

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Verbal Behavior Team is committed to providing quality ABA therapy, supervision over therapists, and consultation services in the United States and internationally. The purpose of this company is to help our client integrate into their community as well as disseminate our knowledge about trauma informed ABA therapy to team members, parents, and other collaborators (e.g., school staff).

In the future, we are looking to expand our connections across California and worldwide. Many people who would benefit from ABA services simply do not have access to it. Our team would like to help underserved populations to receive the care they need.
