About the Internship
Our Summer internship provides a hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting semiconductor industry. Our interns will work alongside industry projects and gain valuable insights into our core engineering roles. This program is designed to grow and shape the industry leaders of tomorrow, offering a chance to learn, develop and build the skills needed for a successful career in the semiconductor field.
What to expect
This position is a paid internship that is expected to start May/June 2026 and continue through August/September 2026. The duration will be 12 weeks, full time and on-site. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in a full-time academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for our Early Career opportunities.

What You’ll Do
As a Construction Coordinator Intern at ASM, you’ll support the Scottsdale lab base build and ensure readiness for tool installation. You will:
- Coordinate BIM activities with the general contractor to confirm utility routings meet tool requirements.
- Track material deliveries and verify installation aligns with the project timeline.
- Ensure all scope items are completed per SEMI specifications, ASM standards, and within budget.
- Help oversee construction of critical facility systems, including:
- Acid exhaust systems (4; 52K CFM)
- Gas distribution (specialty gases, gas cabinets, VMBS)
- Process cooling water (EPI and ALD systems)
- Bulk gas and inert systems
- Ultra pure water system and loop
- Breathing air and oil-free air systems
- Process vacuum systems
- Collaborate with teams to resolve construction challenges and support milestones.
- Participate in meetings, document progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
