Job Overview
ESO Consultants is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to support imaging services at a 528-bed tertiary care hospital in Rochester, New York. This role involves performing high-quality MRI examinations across a broad range of studies while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established protocols.

This is a night-shift position supporting adult acute care and outpatient services. Holiday coverage is required if it falls on a scheduled workday. No on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies of the brain, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, head, and neck
• Operate MRI equipment including GE, Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba
• Perform advanced MRI procedures including diffusion imaging, gradient echo, perfusion studies, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Perform image post-processing such as ADC mapping and subtraction
• Utilize PACS for image storage, retrieval, and documentation
• Follow MRI safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Document procedures accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with facility policies

Requirements

Licensure and Certifications

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
• ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
• ARRT (MR) Certification (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• NYS Injection Certification (Required)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (Required)
• 2 or more years of MRI experience preferred
• Travel experience not required

Technical Skills

• MRI imaging of brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, and head and neck
• Experience with advanced MRI techniques and image post-processing
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
