We are seeking a passionate and organized professional to join our nonprofit team as an Event Coordinator / Membership Experience Manager. Job Description: Event Coordinator / Membership Experience Manager
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Venue Management:
Plan and execute events including member events, external rentals, fundraisers,
community programs, member mixers, and partner receptions
Manage venue rental inquiries, contracts, scheduling, and logistics for external
clients and internal programs
Coordinate catering and bar packages, ensuring compliance with club policies and local regulations
Maintain relationships with preferred vendors and negotiate cost-effective service agreements
Track event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure events align with fundraising and engagement goals
Membership Experience & Sales:
Serve as the primary point of contact for members, donors, and community
partners
Develop and implement strategies to attract, onboard, and retain members and
supporters
Actively promote and sell membership through outreach, events, and personalized engagement and marketing
Organize member-exclusive programs, benefits, and recognition initiatives
Maintain accurate membership records and analyze data to inform growth
strategies
Create and manage weekly member communication, newsletter, update social
media and marketing
Collaboration & Reporting:
Partner with Social Committee, catering partner and Board to align events and
membership eorts with organizational goals
Support fundraising campaigns and membership/event referrals through events and member engagement
Prepare reports on event performance, rental revenue, and membership metrics for leadership and board review monthly
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Hospitality, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in event coordination, membership management, or
nonprofit fundraising
Proven ability to manage logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships
Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills
Familiarity with CRM systems, donor databases, and event platforms
