Business Development Intern (Grant Outreach & Partnerships) – In Person (New York)

Location:12 E 49th Street, New York, NY

Internship Duration:3 months (Mid-January 2026 – Mid-April 2026)

Time Commitment:20 hours per week

Stipend:$1,500 total (paid at completion of internship)

Internship completion letter provided (school-compliant)About the Internship

We are seeking an In-Person Business Development Intern to support outreach efforts related to grant and funding opportunities for schools, libraries, and community organizations.

This is not a traditional sales role. The focus is on educational outreach and appointment setting, helping organizations connect with our internal team to better understand available funding programs and how they may benefit.

This internship is structured to prioritize learning, mentorship, and exposure to grant-funded programs rather than revenue generation.

What You’ll Do

  • Make outbound phone calls from our New York office
  • Introduce grant and funding opportunities clearly and professionally
  • Identify interest and basic eligibility
  • Schedule informational calls or meetings with senior team members
  • Track outreach activity and appointment details
  • Collaborate with the internal team in a professional office environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled student or recent graduate
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone and in professional settings

  • Able to commit 20 hours per week on-site
  • Interest in business development, public funding, or education

  • Internship work will take place on-site at this location
