Location: Columbus, OH
Work Schedule: 38.75hrs/week, 2 days in office (Tuesday & Wednesday) and 3 days remote

Summary: The Personal Lines Operations Intern will support the Personal Lines Operations team by assisting with basic data tasks, operational workflows, process documentation, and administrative functions. This role is designed for individuals interested in insurance operations, data analytics, or business process improvement. The intern will gain exposure to reporting, metrics, automation initiatives, and day-to-day operational support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Personal Lines Operations Intern will support the team by assisting with routine data tasks, documentation updates, and operational workflows. The intern will help maintain reports, provide administrative support, and contribute to small process improvement efforts while learning how a business operations team functions.
- Assist with pulling and updating weekly/monthly data and metrics used in operational and underwriting reports.
- Help review and update process documentation, workflows, and visual management tools.
- Assist in the execution of Operational projects that focus on Continuous Improvement, Efficiency, Emerging Technology and Expense Management.
- Provide administrative and operational support such as preparing meeting materials, organizing documents, and assisting with office needs.
- Gather information and assist with internal requests and general team support.
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Risk Management/Insurance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in insurance operations, process improvement, or analytics.
