About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Intern to join our team onsite. This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates who want real-world experience in sales, business development, and the digital payments/tech industry. You will work in a fast-paced startup environment where you can learn quickly, take ownership, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and managing business partnerships and helping with new merchant acquisition.
  • Identify and reach out to potential merchants and partners to introduce payment solutions that support their business needs.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration of new merchants.
  • Provide sales support to clients and internal teams when needed.
  • Collect and share market feedback with leadership and product teams about competition, client needs, and potential improvements.
  • Help develop ideas for product enhancements, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or a strong interest in sales.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Interest in technology, digital payments, and startup culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active on LinkedIn and other professional/social platforms.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing work environment; able to follow instructions and receptive to feedback.
  • Willing to work fully onsite (no hybrid or remote work options).
