New Graduate Software Engineer
New Graduate Software Engineer, AI Systems and Solutions Architecture (Python, ML, Deep Learning) - Expert Intelligence (EI), Silicon Valley
Why EI -
EI is building the next generation AI automation company for science and industry. We are turning workflows that still depend on manual expert judgment into software, at scale, with traceability and reliability.
We are not an LLM wrapper. Our core is LSM (Limited Sample Model), a new AI frontier designed for high stakes environments where data is scarce, accuracy is critical, and systems must be audit ready.
What you will do -
- Build and ship Python services, APIs, and internal tools that power AI driven workflow automation
- Implement ML and deep learning components, training utilities, evaluation harnesses, and inference pipelines
- Design systems that are introspectable and debuggable, then scale them with reliability and performance in mind.
- Work closely with scientists and engineers to translate real world problems into clean technical designs
- Write clean, well tested code, participate in code reviews, and improve developer workflows.
You will thrive here if you are
- A very strong Python programmer with a builder and hacker mindset
- Strong in CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and system architecture)
- The type who loves debugging, profiling, and making systems faster without making them fragile
- Comfortable moving between research prototypes and production quality implementations
- High ownership, you like to ship, measure, and iterate
Minimum qualifications
- Recent BS or MS in CS, EE, applied math, or equivalent evidence through projects
- Excellent Python programming skills, will be tested for coding skills.
- ML and deep learning exposure through coursework, research, or serious projects
Preferred
- PyTorch or JAX experience
- Systems exposure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud (AWS or Azure), observability
- Biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or lab automation familiarity
Strong public evidence: GitHub, open source, technical writing, research projects
