Social Media Creator internship
About WYDE
WYDE is the world's first Impact Exchange. We're building a platform where trading funds verified nonprofits, communities govern outcomes, and every transaction accelerates human progress. Think of it like this: what if every trade you made actually mattered?
We're launching with $EAT, a token dedicated to ending hunger in America. When people trade $EAT, a portion of every transaction flows directly to food banks and hunger relief organizations like Feeding America and Second Harvest. 47 million Americans face food insecurity. We're building market infrastructure to help solve that.
We're small, scrappy, and building something that's never existed before. That means you won't be scheduling posts for a marketing manager. You'll be helping define what this brand looks like to the world.
The Role
We need someone who can make people stop scrolling.
You'll own our presence on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. You'll create content that explains what we're doing, builds community, and gets people excited about trading for impact. Some days you'll be editing videos. Other days you'll be brainstorming campaign ideas or responding to comments.
What you'll actually do:
- Create and post content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms
- Turn complex ideas (blockchain, impact investing, hunger relief) into content that anyone can understand
- Track what's working and double down on it
- Engage with our community and build relationships with followers
- Spot trends early and figure out how WYDE can participate authentically
- Collaborate with our team on the $EAT launch and growth
- Help us figure out what we haven't thought of yet
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who makes things. Not someone who talks about making things.
You should have:
- A portfolio of content you've created (personal accounts count, school projects count, anything that shows you can actually do this)
- Strong instincts for what makes people engage, share, and remember
- The ability to explain complicated topics simply
- Comfort with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, whatever you use)
- Genuine curiosity about crypto, social impact, or both
- The confidence to pitch ideas and the humility to learn when they don't work
Bonus points if you:
- Already post content regularly and have grown an audience (any size)
- Understand the crypto/web3 space and can speak the language
- Care about food security, hunger relief, or social causes broadly
- Have experience with viral content or community building
- Know how to use analytics to inform creative decisions
What You'll Get
- Real ownership over a brand at the earliest possible stage
- A portfolio of work for a company doing something genuinely new
- Mentorship and direct access to leadership
- Flexibility to work on your own schedule
- Paid compensation
- The chance to help build something that could change how the world funds progress
