Prep Academy Scientist

This high-profile scientific position requires a college graduate with a masters degree in chemical education and a supporting background in analytical chemistry. Experience or aptitude in analytical measurement instrumentation and calibration science is highly desirable. This position includes fast-track leadership paths to facilitate the educational startup and realization of the Stranaska Prep Academy as an integral part of the Stranaska Analytical Metrology Initiative (SAMI). The vision of the Stranaska Prep Academy is to provide scientific mentorship in analytical metrology which adds to the "S" in STEM education. The successful candidate will work closely with the Academy Director to provide high school and college students with a unique mentorship and learning environment to facilitate their awareness of analytical metrology for college and/or career path readiness. The position may involve some travel to local high schools and educational sites as well as the need for instructing possible evening and/or weekend mentorship learning sessions.
