Event Volunteer | The Newark Summit

Attendee Registration: assist the attendees locate their name badges and answer questions relating to locations and times of sessions, venue layout, etc.

Speaker Registration: assist the speakers locate their name badges, answer questions relating to locations and times of sessions, speaker lounge, venue layout, etc. Communicate with lead coordinator to alert of speaker’s arrival to notify stage manager and guide them to the next location for their engagement.

Exhibitor Assistance: Assist exhibitors with set-up in the morning of the event and assist with any issues that they may encounter during the event.

Speaker Panel Assistance: Work with the stage manager and registration team to locate speakers prior to each panel and walk them to the speakers lounge area to prepare for their session.

Speaker Stage Transitions, Timekeeper, Q&A Team: Work with the Stage Manager and Run of Show Coordinator to ensure the stage setup is rotated, time is kept for panelists, and the Q&A is moderated within the budgeted time.
