Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking Antibody Manufacturing Associates for direct hire opportunities with one of our clients, a biotechnology company that develops and manufactures novel synthetic DNA tools at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wilsonville, OR. Pay rate: $21/hour + shift differential.
Schedule:
- Week 1: M-F, 9am-5pm
- Remainder of 1st month: 7:30am-3:30pm, 5 days (days TBD)
- After 1st month: Move to shift 1A (Sun-Tues 7am-7:30pm EO Wes) or 1B (Thurs-Sat, 7am-7:30pm EO Weds)
- Starting in April 2026: Move to Swing shift 2pm-2:30am 5 days (days TBD)

As a Manufacturing Associate, you’ll play a critical role in executing molecular and cellular biology workflows, supporting complex analytical techniques, and ensuring excellence in every stage of production.

Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, custom immunoglobulin products using automated technologies and molecular biology techniques in a fast-paced, high-throughput laboratory.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment including liquid handling robots, next-generation sequencing instruments, spectrometers, centrifuges, thermocyclers, and more.
- Apply expertise in molecular and cellular biology (PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, and cloning) to deliver consistent, accurate results.
- Ensure detailed documentation of all operational procedures and outcomes using established software tools and templates.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot process deviations, assist leads with problem-solving, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Prepare finished products for shipment, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Complete assigned production tasks efficiently, maintain an organized workspace and report progress regularly to supervisory staff.
- Write and update work instructions to support process documentation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in laboratory manufacturing environments, especially those with high-throughput and advanced automation.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (preferred).
- Prior experience in molecular biology, laboratory manufacturing, or similar hands-on environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with computerized documentation (Excel, Word, Atlassian, etc.).
- Readiness to work independently, with enthusiasm for learning and adopting new scientific and technical concepts.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, stand for extended periods, and handle materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work occasional shifts outside traditional hours as needed.
