About CITCA

CITCA is a community‑based organization focused on mental wellness, youth empowerment, and family support across Maryland. We partner with local schools, community groups, and national organizations to expand access to wellness resources and build stronger, healthier communities.

We’re looking for a motivated Program Coordinator VISTA who wants to grow their professional skills, build a strong resume, and make a real impact.

Position Overview

As a Program Coordinator, you will support the development, coordination, and sustainability of CITCA’s programs. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands‑on experience in:

Program development

Community engagement

Grant support

Procurement and vendor management

National partnership building

Nonprofit operations

You’ll gain professional credentials, expand your network, and contribute to meaningful community impact.

What You’ll Do

Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating community and youth programs

Build and maintain relationships with community partners and national organizations

Support procurement tasks (vendor research, quotes, documentation)

Contribute to grant writing through research, data collection, and drafting

Coordinate outreach, volunteer engagement, and community events

Track program outcomes and support reporting requirements

Represent CITCA at meetings, events, and partner activities

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
