General Sports Instructor
Lightkeepers International (LK) is expanding our youth enrichment programs and seeking a General Sports Instructor who brings energy, structure, and purpose to athletic instruction.
This role is not about running drills for the sake of activity—it is about using sports as a vehicle for character development, discipline, teamwork, and confidence.
Role Overview
As a General Sports Instructor, you will lead structured sports sessions within LK’s after-school and camp environments. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and growth-oriented experience for students across a variety of sports.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise sports activities in after-school and camp settings
Provide instruction across multiple sports (e.g., basketball, soccer, flag football, fitness, etc.)
Manage groups of children with professionalism, patience, and authority
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
Collaborate with LK staff to align programming with organizational values
Required Qualifications
Prior experience working in an after-school program or camp setting (required)
Strong classroom/group management skills in active environments
Ability to adapt instruction for different age groups and skill levels
Reliable, punctual, and accountable
