Licensed Social Worker - LMSW, LCSW

 

Responsible for overseeing the entire clinical process within Outpatient SUD/Mental Health program, including case management, therapy, treatment plan development,  case reviews, group counseling, aftercare planning, and client case monitoring. This role involves the supervision and professional development of the clinical team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience with adult outpatientl treatment, particularly within the context of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of patient rights, confidentiality, case management systems, and the criminal justice system.
  • Experience in substance abuse treatment 
  • Familiarity with group facilitation, process development, and ancillary treatment services.
  • Statistical record-keeping, research, and data analysis experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster positive outcomes for clients and staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in documentation and case reviews.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATES:

  • Required : Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Required : Full state licensure in the field of study.
  • Required : CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) and CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor) certification through Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) or eligibility to complete certification within 6 months of hire.
