Maine Arts Camp is excited to be heading into our 22nd season, and we’re looking for passionate, creative, and dedicated people to join our staff! If you love working with kids and teens, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to spend your summer surrounded by the arts and fun, this could be the opportunity for you.
The majority of our positions are Dorm Counselors - energetic, responsible staff, who live on the same floor as campers (not in the same room) and share responsibility with co-counselors for the daily care, supervision, and community of their dorm group. In addition to dorm responsibilities, counselors assist in activity areas during the day, and often have the chance to lead activities.
We are looking for:
• Education/Arts Education Majors
• Those with an interest and experience in the Arts
• Visual Arts (painting, pottery, photography, fused glass, etc.)
• Performing Arts (theatre, dance, music, tech design, etc.)
• Filmmaking
• Writing (Narrative, poetry, script writing, etc…)
• Interest in Outdoor Activities (kayaking, pickleball, etc.)
• Previous camp experience is a plus, but not mandatory
We also hire teaching artists with strong expertise and experience to lead specialty areas.

Staff Dates: June 28 - August 2, 2026 Compensation & Benefits
• First-Year Dorm Counselors: $3,400
• Experienced Teaching Artists: $5,200 (and up)
• Full room & board included for the entire duration of camp

Founded in 2004, Maine Arts Camp is a unique, creative community capped at just 90 campers per session. Nestled on the beautiful Tilton School campus in Tilton, NH, MAC gives kids and teens the freedom to explore their passions while developing resilience, confidence, and independence.
