What you’ll do at Summit Behavioral Healthcare
- Designs and facilitates recovery-based services and supports to assist individuals in achieving personal recovery goals
- Offers assistance with daily living, emotional and social support, and connections to clinical care and community resources
- Utilizes personal recovery experience, when appropriate, to encourage and inspire hope
- Leads and coordinates recovery-related groups, teaching coping skills, relaxation techniques, and wellness strategies
- Mentors clients/residents through the recovery process by promoting empowerment, goal-setting, and self-advocacy
- Educates clients/residents on available peer services, rights processes, advance directives, and supplemental support programs
Requires current certification as Peer Recovery Supporter
