Part-Time Coding & Robotics Instructor – In-Person | Sun Valley, CA

Learn2Code.Live is seeking enthusiastic, reliable Coding & Robotics Instructors to lead fun, hands-on STEM, coding, and robotics classes for K–12 students in Sun Valley, CA (8926 Sunland Blvd). This is an in-person, after-school role with a fully provided curriculum—no lesson planning required.

This position is perfect for computer science students, recent graduates, engineers, and tech professionals looking for a meaningful, flexible, part-time opportunity to teach and inspire young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive, project-based coding and robotics lessons for K–12 students
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Guide students through hands-on programming and robotics activities
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and the Learn2Code.Live team
  • Provide constructive feedback to support curriculum and instruction improvement

 

Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields (students welcome)
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch
  • Robotics/Hardware: LEGO SPIKE Essential, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching kids and making STEM learning fun
  • Reliable, organized, and punctual; able to teach in-person in Sun Valley, CA

 

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
  • Experience in STEM education, after-school programs, or youth instruction
