Part-Time LEGO Robotics Instructor (In-Person | Pacoima, CA)

Learn2Code.Live is hiring Part-Time LEGO Robotics Instructors to deliver hands-on robotics and coding classes for K–12 students in Pacoima, California. This is an in-person teaching role with a fully provided curriculum—no lesson planning required.

This opportunity is ideal for college students, recent graduates, aspiring educators, and STEM enthusiasts who enjoy working with kids and want to gain experience in robotics, coding, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, hands-on LEGO Robotics classes for elementary through high school students
  • Create a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Guide students through robotics projects using the provided curriculum
  • Motivate students, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Adapt instruction to different age groups and learning styles
  • Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff
  • Share classroom feedback to help improve curriculum and instruction

Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or related fields (students and recent grads encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with LEGO Robotics platforms (SPIKE Prime, SPIKE Essential, EV3, or similar)
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages or tools:
  • Scratch, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++
  • Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit
  • Comfortable using computers and classroom technology
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Patient, enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about working with kids
  • Able to work independently and teach in person in Pacoima, CA
