Full Job description:
At our clinic, we believe every child is full of potential. We are a team of therapists who are passionate about creating a supportive, playful, and encouraging environment where kids and families feel valued and cared for. We’re looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who shares our heart for children and families and wants to grow alongside a collaborative, fun-loving team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer screening measures and standardized assessments to patients
- Interpret results from assessments to create and write up individualized treatment plans based on medical diagnosis, age, environmental factors, etc.
- Implement interventions based on observations and interactions with patients and caregivers
- Ability to work with patients of all ages
- Conduct caregiver interviews and provide education, training, and home programming to support generalization of skills
- Discharge planning and recommendations
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with clinic standards and insurance requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Supervise and educate fieldwork students and student observers.
- Minor administration and office duties
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorates degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Montana state OT license.
- NBCOT certification.
- Prior pediatric experience is strongly preferred; new graduates with pediatric fieldwork experience will be considered.
- Strong clinical reasoning, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire (will reimburse course).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in sensory integration, feeding therapy, or handwriting interventions.
- Familiarity with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, and other pediatric diagnoses.
6 month probationary period for employment
