Little Legends Therapy is a private therapy practice in Billings, MT that is growing and looking to add members to build a strong team to serve our community. Little Legends Therapy believes in creating an environment where children can feel safe and build the skills they need to be successful in their daily occupations. We believe in a “bottom-up” approach, addressing the foundational components, filling in the holes to facilitate motivation, participation, confidence, and success in daily occupations. We provide services to children ages 0-21 with a wide variety of diagnosis inclusive of, but not limited to, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, SPD, ODD, ASD, PTSD, developmental delay, and social skills differences. We are on the go and enjoy making therapy fun for everyone!  We are looking to expand services to counseling for children ages ~7-21, young adults, and their families.  

Full Job description: 

At our clinic, we believe every child is full of potential. We are a team of therapists who are passionate about creating a supportive, playful, and encouraging environment where kids and families feel valued and cared for. We’re looking for a Pediatric LSCW or LCPC who shares our heart for children and families and wants to grow alongside a collaborative, fun-loving team.The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse client base and be comfortable adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the unique developmental needs of each age group. We hope to provide individual and family based therapy. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions for clients ages 7 - 21
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress and case notes
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multi-disciplinary staff as appropriate
  • Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
  • Refer clients to outside resources and services when necessary
  • Participate in supervision of potential counseling candidates
  • Collaborate with staff for any shared clients and participate in staff meetings 
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
  • Provide clear and concise documentation (notes, evaluations, progress notes, goal writing, etc.)
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
  • Minor administration and office duties 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (LPC, LMFT, LCSW preferred).
  • Current licensure for the state of Montana. 
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a counseling setting
  • Strong understanding of child and adult development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire (will reimburse course)
  • Able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a pediatric clinic, school, or outpatient therapy setting.
  • Training in trauma-informed care, play therapy, or other child-focused modalities.

6 month probationary period for employment
