Industrial Engineer

Overview

In the role of Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our production processes, implementing efficiency improvements, and supporting ongoing operational initiatives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and contribute to the achievement of operational excellence. Work will be done from both an office setting as well as on distribution/manufacturing floors, depending upon business needs.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of production processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret production data, performance metrics, and KPIs to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Workforce Planning: Assist in workforce planning activities, including staffing requirements, work schedules, and labor utilization strategies to optimize production output.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality control measures, standards, and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies, automation solutions, and digital tools to improve production efficiency.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in project coordination, including project planning, timeline management, resource allocation, and documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and support to service teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices to promote continuous learning and skill development.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 3 plus years of related professional experiences.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality management principles.
  • CAD software experience preferred.

Core Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, ERP systems, and process simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary Range: $75,700 - $94,600 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for an annual bonus, subject to plan terms.
Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
