Sales Representative

Role Overview
The Sales Representative we are looking for is responsible for driving enrollment and institutional partnerships for an edtech company that supports underserved students to help them increase their test scores and get into college. This role requires a strong closer mindset, the ability to sell structured academic tutoring solutions, and confidence engaging school leaders and community organizations to secure contracts that support student achievement.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Prospect and engage school districts, charter schools, nonprofits, and community organizations seeking tutoring support. 
  • Conduct discovery calls and virtual presentations with administrators and decision-makers. 
  • Clearly present tutoring program structures, pricing, schedules, and implementation timelines
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract execution
  • Manage pipeline activity, follow-ups, and forecasting in HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and program launch
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

 

Qualifications
 

  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong closing record
  • Prior experience selling tutoring, education services, or academic programs preferred
  • Comfortable with hard selling, objection handling, and contract discussions
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM (required); ClickUp experience a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Confident working with school administrators and senior stakeholders
  • Highly goal-driven, organized, and proactive
