About The Cape Playhouse
The Cape Playhouse is situated within the Cape Cod Center for the Arts - a unique 22-acre campus on historic route 6A in the heart of Dennis Village, MA. The venue celebrates the best of the performing, visual, and culinary arts on the Cape. Our partner organizations include The Cape Cod Museum of Art and the legendary Cape Cinema.
The Cape Playhouse has an illustrious history dating back to 1927, when our founder Raymond Moore embarked on a mission to carve out a place for us in the American Theatre landscape - in his words, he was “aspiring to be of service to many artist-workers and to be a source of inspiration and recreation to the community.” Today, we operate the theatre as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are proud to build upon his legacy.
