The Opportunity (Built for New Grads)

As an Entry-Level Construction Project Manager, you’ll support the planning and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll work alongside experienced project leaders and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and on budget.

What You’ll Do

• Support project execution across all phases: planning, scheduling, on-site coordination, and closeout
• Help manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and design partners to drive timely decisions and approvals
• Participate in site walks and OAC meetings to align stakeholders on scope, cost, and timeline
• Track project costs and schedules, flag risks early, and assist with progress reporting/forecasting
• Promote a safe, organized jobsite and support quality control efforts

What We’re Looking For:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree (completing or graduating) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Interest in construction project delivery in commercial and/or industrial environments
• Reliable transportation and availability to work onsite primarily in the Chicagoland area and surrounding counties (including Cook County)

Preferred

• Internship, co-op, or 1–2+ years of progressive experience in construction/project management support
• Familiarity with construction documentation workflows (RFIs, submittals, change orders)
• Exposure to construction management software/tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or similar)
• Proactive problem-solver who stays composed in fast-moving environments

Work Environment

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime as needed
• On-site role with projects located in the Chicagoland area
