About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive new business growth for KWE. This is a true business development role focused on acquiring new clients through strategic outreach, relationship building, and consultative selling.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through multiple channels including cold calling, social media outreach, and trade show participation
  • Leverage company-provided sales leads, including reports on dormant and inactive accounts with reactivation potential
  • Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research prospects and build meaningful connections
  • Develop and execute a personal strategy for breaking into competitive accounts

Client Engagement

  • Conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present KWE solutions
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in our CRM system
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and our IT department for EDI integration needs

Account Management

  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new accounts
  • Support accounts receivable efforts when payment terms aren't met
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Participate in business entertainment activities to strengthen client relationships

  • Strong consultative selling approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfortable with CRM systems and data entry to track sales activities
