Your Camp Director Journey
Phase One – Training & Readiness (Hire–March)
Mostly remote—with a few fun scheduled in-person meetups—this phase is all about gearing up! You’ll get onboarded, attend virtual and in-person trainings, and dive deep into everything that makes our program special. Think of it as your warm-up hike before the big adventure.
Phase Two – Business Operations (April–June)
This is when the excitement builds! You’ll host marketing events that spark enrollment, recruit and train your rock-star staff, map out field trips, and create the ultimate summer schedule. Reaching enrollment targets is essential for camp opening, and you’ll be front-and-center in rallying families and building momentum for launch. It’s your time to set the stage for an unforgettable camp season.
Phase Three – Camp Activation (June–August)
Game time! Once enrollment goals are met, you’ll bring camp to life—fine-tuning systems, leading your team, keeping quality high, maximizing camper joy and family engagement, and gathering feedback to make each day better than the last.
