Norwood Public Schools is actively hiring Daily Substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year across all grade levels. The Daily Substitute's responsibilities include (and are not limited to)
- Following lesson plans to deliver engaging classroom instruction
- Managing student behavior to ensure a safe, productive learning environment
- Building relationships with school staff and maintaining effective communication
- Encouraging students social, physical, and intellectual growth through meaningful activities

Flexible Schedule!
Work on a per diem, on-call basis with no minimum assignment requirements.
School Hours Include:
- Willett Early Childhood Center: 8:10am - 1:40pm
- Little Mustangs Preschool Academy: various sessions between 8:30am- 2:30pm
- Elementary Schools: 7:35am - 2:15pm
- Coakley Middle School: 8:45am - 3:20pm
- Norwood High School: 8:15am - 2:50pm
Competitive Pay!
- Certified Teachers: $150 per day
- Non-Certified Teachers: $140 per day
- Non-Degreed Teacher: $130 per day
- Paraprofessionals: $117 per day
