The AAPC Foundation Summer Internship Program offers students a full-time, paid, nine-week applied learning experience with a designated AAPC member firm. Interns gain practical skills, professional networks, and insight into how campaigns, data, and technology shape civic engagement—preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in the field.
Amber Integrated is a leading public affairs firm offering lobbying, political consulting, legislative advocacy, survey research, and media strategy nationwide. The team includes public affairs experts, political strategists, campaign managers, and data analysts, providing a well-rounded approach to government relations and strategic communications. Amber Integrated has worked with state and federal officials, Fortune 500 companies, and political campaigns to deliver results through innovative, data-driven strategies.
Amber Integrated is seeking a motivated intern to support political campaign work, including the Chip Keating for Governor of Oklahoma campaign. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in political strategy, messaging, data analysis, and grassroots engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with campaign projects, including drafting social media content, sending campaign communications, and helping prepare for campaign events
- Support the team with campaign strategy, message development, research, and data-related tasks
This position is ideal for candidates who are:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Able to read, interpret, and work with data, including generating reports and automating processes where applicable
- Quick to learn campaign software and comfortable managing data
- Committed to a strong work ethic and eager to learn and contribute as part of a team
- Interested in political communications with strong writing skills
