Junior Copywriter

Hello, internet 👋

We’re looking for a concept-driven, culture-obsessed, marketing-savvy junior copywriter to join our team at THIS JANUARY. You’ll contribute to accounts from retail to airline and projects for all kinds of brands!

We’re a small agency that’s more interested in finding a person that’s the right fit, rather than a person with the perfect resume. In general, the best candidate for us will have either 1-2 years agency experience OR have been to portfolio / ad school.

We’re looking for someone who —

• Has either been to advertising school or has 1-2 years agency experience
• Loves searching for big ideas and finding small joys in writing social post concepts 
• Is confident multi-tasking across multiple projects and clients
• Flourishes in a small team environment through both self-direction and co-working

Quick facts About THIS JANUARY —

• We have a killer office on 14th Street/Logan Circle with a really nice office dog.
• We work in-person at the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (we WFH Weds/Friday)
• We have healthcare and vacation days, it's all pretty standard...
• One thing that's non-standard is we close the office for 3 weeks per year, so that we're 100% sure everyone gets a break
