System Analyst
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a System Analyst within the Department of Administration - Information Technology Division. The job duties of the System Analyst include but are not limited to design, build, and implement secure server systems across the enterprise; includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing (with a focus on law enforcement and including the City of Chippewa Falls), servers, applications, phones system, associated operating systems and software; responsible for Chippewa County computer security; ensuring the compliance with all internal and regulatory guidelines regarding protection of sensitive data; troubleshoot performance issues, as well as provide capacity planning solutions; analyze and resolve end-user hardware, software and provide end-user training as required; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ recent experience including system analysis, server management, and project management principles required -OR- Associate’s degree in Information Technology with a minimum of six (6) years of recent experience including system analysis, server management, and project management principles required. Virtualization experience is preferred. Experience working in the public sector is preferred. A valid driver’s license and cell phone is required. Starting Wage: $33.27 - $36.97 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $44.36 per hour
