JC-502231 - Administrative Analyst - Analyst I/II

The Center for Preparedness and Response (CPR) within the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is a critical division dedicated to safeguarding the health and well-being of Californians during public health emergencies. CPR coordinates statewide preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts for events such as natural disasters, disease outbreaks, bioterrorism, and other emergencies impacting public health.

The Administrative Analyst plays a vital role in the Administration Unit of the Center for Preparedness and Response (CPR), supporting personnel operations across all CPR programs. This position supports administrative drills, policy development, and training initiatives, while maintaining dashboards and tracking systems to monitor recruitment and program performance.

  • Familiarity with workforce planning
  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting policies, procedures, and administrative regulations.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards, tracking systems, and performance metrics.
  • Experience coordinating administrative drills, audits, or compliance reviews.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials or facilitating staff development sessions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other data tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
