Construction Project Management Intern
What You Will Do
- As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will support both field and office operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Plan set control: Upload, label, and track drawing revisions to ensure teams are working from current prints
- Document control: Organize files, maintain simple logs, and capture meeting notes
- Field coordination: Communicate updates to superintendents and crews and distribute revised documents
- Schedule support: Assist with task lists and two-week look-ahead schedules
- Estimating support: Perform basic takeoffs and request vendor quotes as needed
- Job site exposure: Attend site walkthroughs and observe projects from preparation through closeout
- Quality and safety support: Assist with checklists, sign-in sheets, and documentation
Requirements
Currently studying Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and comfortable asking questions
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Word with a willingness to learn company systems
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in construction and project management
Position Details
- Part-time during the semester, based on class schedule
- In-person role with a mix of office and job site exposure
