iOS App Developer

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗥𝗞𝗨𝗕𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗖
RKube Inc is launching a consumer mobile dating application from the ground up. We are at the very beginning stage and are looking for a technically capable iOS developer who has previously shipped apps to the Apple App Store and understands the full lifecycle of building, testing, and deploying an iOS app.

This role is hands on and execution focused. You will help take the product from nothing to a functional MVP using existing tools, templates, and best practices rather than reinventing core components.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥

Set up a new iOS project from scratch using Swift and Xcode

Use existing iOS templates, UI kits, or starter themes to accelerate development

Implement core dating app features including onboarding, profiles, filters, and discovery or matching flows

Integrate maps and location based features using Apple Maps or Google Maps

Integrate backend services such as Firebase, Supabase, or custom APIs for authentication and data storage

Manage app navigation, state, and local persistence

Prepare builds for TestFlight and App Store submission

Handle certificates, provisioning profiles, and App Store Connect setup

Document development steps and technical decisions

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗦

Prior experience publishing at least one iOS app to the App Store or TestFlight

Understanding of App Store submission, certificates, and provisioning

Ability to work independently and make technical decisions

Comfort starting from a blank slate and moving quickly

𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

Strong experience with Swift and iOS fundamentals

Experience using SwiftUI and or UIKit

Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile networking

Experience with maps and location permissions

Comfortable using Git and version control

Practical mindset focused on shipping

𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

Experience with social, dating, or consumer apps

Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or similar platforms

Experience with push notifications or basic chat features

Strong eye for mobile UX

Not a classroom style internship

Not a research or theory role

Not a guided learning position

This role requires someone who already knows how iOS apps are built and shipped.
