THE ROLE
The Director of Scheduling and Special Projects will serve as the primary staff member responsible for managing the Lieutenant Governor’s schedule and supporting key initiatives. This role includes attending events alongside the Lieutenant Governor, planning and executing public events, drafting official memos, and performing a variety of administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling: Oversee the Lieutenant Governor's daily calendar, including evaluating and recommending event participation.
- Event Planning: Organize, execute, and staff public events, such as veteran recognition ceremonies hosted by the Lieutenant Governor.
- Leadership: Facilitate weekly scheduling meeting with the staff and co-manage the office internship program.
- Administrative: Manage the Lieutenant Governor's Office and assist with constituent requests.
- Memorandum Drafting: Compose memoranda for events attended by the Lieutenant Governor.
