Paid Film Production Internship

The Hartford Film Company is now accepting applications for our paid summer internship program. The internship is designed to offer a broad exposure to the wide variety of careers in film production, including:

• Script development
• Hands on camera and cinematography work
• Editing
• Commercial concept development
• Social media video production
• Budgeting, scheduling, and producing.

Interns will work in groups to produce a pro-bono commercial for a local non-profit, using professional equipment and receiving step by step mentorship from the Hartford Film Company team. They will also have the opportunity to assist in the post-production and early marketing of our feature film, Unplanted Seeds, which is currently in production. 

The internship has tentative dates of July 6th - August 14th, and will pay $16.94/hr. Interested applicants should submit a resume and a cover letter addressing where they would stay if offered the role. The internship is in-person, 5 days a week at our offices in Hartford, CT. Applicants deemed a good potential fit will be invited for a Zoom interview in late March.
