Business Development Associate

We are looking for an responsible, energetic, and entrepreneurial person to help us build occupancy in our apartments in Florence for the 2026 Summer tourism season. This person will report directly to the company president.  We expect that the solution to our problem lies in the following areas:  

1. Marketing apartments on Airbnb and other channels to tourists.
2. Marketing our own academic programs to attract students during the non-academic year.

This task will involve the following elements:

1. Developing rules around which apartments may be marketed on which channels, for what periods, and for what prices
2. Interviewing vacation rental apartment management companies to find partners who are aligned with our goals
3. Creating and executing an online marketing plan for these initiatives

This assignment can be done remotely or on-site at our offices in Florence, Italy during the Spring Semester of 2026.  Fluency and/or reasonable speaking ability in Italian is desirable.  If you are studying abroad in Italy during Spring 2026, this could be a fit for you.  We do not provide airfare, but we may be open to providing accommodation to the right candidate.
