Sales Internship @ HireSource.ai

Introduction

HireSource.ai (Platform Cohort 2025) is an AI-accelerated recruitment agency (https://www.hiresource.ai/).

HireSources’s AI agent, “Tod” (short for “Talent on demand”) helps source and screen candidates 24/7, enabling HireSource to make every recruiter more efficient, and for savings to be passed on to HireSource’s clients.

Where a human touch is still critical is sourcing and closing clients - hiring managers with roles to fill. This side of the business is still strongly relationship-based and the sale is somewhat consultative.

About the Sales Internship

You will source and close clients for HireSource.

You will receive:

  • a target list of hiring managers that are alums of your school
  • a “sales kit” of proven email templates, phone call scripts, common objections, etc to help you hit the ground running
  • office hours with HireSource’s CEO, Josh Burkwist, who has been a top-performing recruiter for 20 years
  • access to a Slack channel and AI agent that can help with questions and processes
  • $1,000 for each role closed at a client that you close, which could amount to tens of thousands of dollars for large clients with multiple roles

You will:

  • reach out to targets, using your .edu email, and LinkedIn profile for maximized conversion
  • communicate the benefits of working with HireSource to potential clients
  • close clients, using a standard contract template

Much of the required work is sending and responding to messages and can be done asynchronously, allowing you to work around your schedule.

About You

This is a sales role. It requires relationship building. It requires putting yourself out there and facing rejection.

Your results will be the product of your activity level, your discipline around process, and your perseverance.

Sales is ultimately a numbers game - if you put in the required number of at-bats, you will get the runs.
