Campus Voter Registration Fellowship

Position: Campus Voter Registration Fellowship 

Location: Florida 

Reports to: Voter Registration Director 

Schedule: 10 hours/week 

Start Date: 12 weeks + 1 week orientation, January 12, 2026-April 17, 2026 

Compensation: $1,800 stipend 

 

As part of our year-round organizing plan, the Florida Democratic Party launched a statewide voter registration program. Campus Voter Registration Fellows will be instrumental in helping us register students and educate youth voters across the state, while also learning the key components of what it means to be an organizer. 

Campus Voter Registration Fellows will be responsible for 10 hours of direct campus contact a week and will have the option to complete 3-5 hours of organizer development programming and seminars for a community organizing LinkedIn certification.

Essential Functions 

• Voter registration and direct campus contact: canvassing and relational organizing. 

• Data entry and reporting: report your performance and activity using FDP’s dashboards and reporting tools. 

• Program implementation and oversight: host a voter registration day of action as your capstone project, at the conclusion of your fellowship. 

 

Qualifications 

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. 

• Commitment to working within the community and learning new tactics for community organizing and outreach. 

• Familiarity with Florida’s political landscape and experience working with DECs, clubs, caucuses, or democratic campaigns is strongly preferred. 

• Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder, per FEC regulations.
