Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Laudato Si Student Working Group is a program established in 2026 that convenes student leaders to research, design, implement, and maintain ecological and sustainable projects on and around UDM's McNichols campus. 
  • The Laudato Si Student Working Group is collaboratively organized by University Ministry, TENN, and the School of Architecture and Community Development. 
  • Student will assist with project management, research, and designing solutions related to sustainability research and Laudato Si. 
  • Students will participate in weekly meetings, note taking, project tracking, and are responsible for sharing updates and progress with project directors.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of basic research methods. 
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. 
  • Communicate progress to project director on a regular basis. 
  • Ability to work effectively on a team.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • 15 Hours/ Week
